For this anthology I’m looking for futuristic stories about Zombies (either human or alien) that take place in deep space, be it on a spaceship, generation ship, space station, a distant Planet/Moon, or wherever as long as the story has strong Science Fiction fundamentals and doesn’t take place on Earth. Besides that, I have no other restrictions. Go nuts.
2,000 words min
5,000 words max
Format:
Title, name, indented paragraphs, with no space between paragraphs. No headers, footers, page numbers, and a short bio at the end of the story in the manuscript.
Send your manuscript as an .rtf file to jablonskijoe@hotmail.com with the words Undead Space and your name in the subject line. Please put your short bio in the manuscript after the story.
No simultaneous or multiple submission. Response time should be within a couple of days at most.
Payment: the warm, fuzzy feeling of a job well done.

I have a story over at Pill Hill that I'm waiting to hear about. If they reject it, then I'll change the city from El Paso Texas to a Space Station. If not, then I'll have to get a new set of characters and new situation and that would push it to the summer.

I've written a couple of stories about the undead on alien planets, but those have been published/reprinted or accepted at another anthology already. Maybe I can come up with something else.

I have no restrictions on reprints for this anthology, so if you have something thats been published before, as long as you own the rights, send it along and I'll be happy to take a look at it.
