I believe this antho only has about 12,000 words so far, and thus needs a good 50,000 more to go to print so send away!

So, how is this one looking? I'm very eager to see this one in particular go to print. One of my stories accepted was one of my first short stories I'd ever written--albeit with a makeover for this anthology. So to see that one make it to print will be a thrill. But, it seems this anthology has stalled. It's been out for a long time now. : (

there are quite a few stalled anthologies, one of mine has been sitting way too long. It happens, unfortunately, writers run out of ideas for a particular theme. If we keep bringing this to the board, it might fill up. Brianna would love for it to be done, I'm sure! I would love to contribute but nothing I have is any good for this theme. Not my scene at all, so it wouldn't be convincing if I tried it.

I've submitted two. I don't know if I can eek out another or not. Tiptoeing between reality and imagination of Egypt is challenging. I used my two best ideas on this. If I did another, it would either be too similar to what I've already submitted or simply too far off the charts to count. Then again, too far is maybe where I need to go...I just had an idea!
