My brother, C. D. Turner (Chuck) went to Sturgis. He was very happy to be going. He had a wreck on August 5th and died August 7th. Chuck loved working with the writers and said editing the two books was the best thing that ever happened in his life. Please pray for the family. We will continue to take submissions for this book and publish it for Chuck's daughter and son. Submissions will now come to me at author.chris@gmail.com
What is New is Old Again - A Steampunk Anthology Open for submissions. Deadline lifted, I still don't know if Chucks intro will be found and I'm going to wait and see.
Single space, indent paragraphs, don't leave an extra space between paragraphs. Please put your bio at the end of the story in the manuscript. No page numbers, headers or footers, and no embedded text.
Send submissions to me at author.chris@gmail.com with steampunk in the subject line.

I sent one in here, as well. However, I forgot to single-space it and had to send in an additional email containing the properly formatted version. Hope that isn't a problem!

chasp38@msn.com Some people are having trouble so just copy and paste the email address into the email... it's easy to leave out the s or put hotmail or what even you have, but the address for submissions is working, it's right, and you should copy/paste.

Chuck, C. D. (my OLDER brother, lol) called to wish me happy birthday - and he tells me he's not had a submission since last week? Come on now, I KNOW there are some steampunk and some Sci-Fi writers out there, please start sending in stories, Chuck is super excited about doing this... he has a writer's heart, submit. Thanks. For inspiration to those interested in writing Steampunk, here are two classics:
Steampunk VanderMeer, Ann | VanderMeer, Jeff Publisher: Tachyon Publications (May 1, 2008)
Promo Blurb: Replete with whimsical mechanical wonders and charmingly anachronistic settings, this pioneering anthology gathers a brilliant blend of fantastical stories. Steampunk originates in the romantic elegance of the Victorian era and blends in modern scientific advances -- synthesizing imaginative technologies such as steam-driven robots, analogue supercomputers, and ultramodern dirigibles. The elegant allure of this popular new genre is represented in this rich collection by distinctively talented authors, including Neal Stephenson, Michael Chabon, James Blaylock, Michael Moorcock . . .
The Steampunk Trilogy Di Filippo, Paul Publisher: Running Press (November 10, 1997)
Promo Blurb: Steampunk is the twisted offspring of science fiction and postmodernism, a sassy, unpredictable tongue-in-cheek style of which the incomparable Paul Di Filippo is master. The three short novels in The Steampunk Trilogy are all set in a very alternative nineteenth century, and feature a mixture of historical and imaginary figures. In "Victoria," a young and lissome Queen Victoria disappears from her throne and is replaced by a sexy human/newt clone. The race is on to find the original Victoria and to hide the terrible secret from the nation . . .
