they annoy me, it is good to delete them! It's such a cheek to invade a site like this and leave rubbish to be cleared up.

Dorothy Davies keeps a running list of word counts so we can see how things are going - are there any indications for other anthologies at SM? I've had 2 acceptances that I'm not sure if the anthologies will see the light of day, and one I think I can onsell if the anthology here falls through. Any indications coming for submission status on the anthologies?

Steven, it might mean checking out the individual anthologies from this list - each author keeps an update going on their thread. I have to say submissions have dropped off very seriously through the summer, due no doubt to all that was going on, Olympics, Jubilee, Wimbledon... you name it, we have had it! Stopped people writing. I have a different excuse, a serious bereavement has rocked my world but I am getting back to what passes for normal with me. Check out the editors, they will have their word count somewhere in the thread.

Dorothy, Please accept my condolences and thanks for your hard work under such circumstances. I'm working on another story and hope to submit it soon. Static Movement is a wonderful experience and with all its different anthologies it keeps creativity always moving on! Olivia

Steven, you can always withdraw your story if you are worried about the anthology filling up, some can wait, some can't. Submissions will pick up once the weather gets cold again, but for now, you are always in control of your work.
