Mark, very perceptive of you! The Earl does indeed have a lot of conflict, being executed on the command of Richard of Gloucester, later Richard III, for supposed treason is just one thing! I'm around 45,000 words into his life story. I realised this morning on the way to work that I have about 5- 6 books around that word count already, just need to get finishing a few ...
Antarctica is one huge mysterious continent with a lot of tales to tell, methinks. Shall be most interested to see what your story entails.

mystery indeed, in the middle of breakfast, reading The Dark Tower book4 (how remote from Towton is that???) I had the image which will set the horror stamp on the story ...

Mark, the earl dictated his story first person, which you didn't really want. It's extremely vivid written this way. Would you care to take a look anyway?

thanks, Mark! Thanks, Chris. Mark has sent some lovely complimentary words via email, which has made the Earl one happy bunny this morning. If I might take a moment to explain ... Antony, Earl Rivers, is a past life husband who has come to share this life with me. His companion, my other companion, is George duke of Clarence. Clarence has his book out already (Death Be Pardoner To Me) and the Earl, being the Earl, spent a month going around making comments such as 'make way for the best selling author' 'give the best selling author a chair, he's tired after all that work' and so on and so on. So you can imagine what is going on here this morning after Mark's wonderful words. I have stomach ache from laughing... The Earl's book (Such Is My Dance, the title taken from his ballad written the night before his execution) is at 48,000 words but my editor wants me to space out the Wars of the Roses books, it can't go out yet. Shame, as it is as vivid as this story. But, his matriarchal mother's story comes before his, among others, as we need a male/female balance to my 3 a year book series. Meantime, another author, whose book is way further down the list, walked in last night and said 'you want some help with an Antarctica story?' so stand by for that one, Mark!!!!!! And again, many thanks for the acceptance and the compliments. You really made the Earl's day, if not his entire weekend!
