I just started a thread on this, Dave, before I read your comment. I am worried about people. Looks like you are too.

Dave, show italics as italics. Georgia is fine, even though we are so far away I couldn't sleep for trees cracking, guess the wind was stronger than I thought it would be. Busy trying to find out about NC, Swan Quarter, where I lived and flooded twice seems to have been flooded again. Very worried about people but it's too soon I guess for reports.

OK, thanks.
Chris - I know the napping of branches. I had eight trees cut down in my yard last year because the snows threatened to pull them over on my house. Took me 6 months to even get a tree service to show up and give an estimate. The wetness makes big, old trees unstable.

I know, they are all leaning. It's been too wet I guess and they've had it. A big enough storm will take care of that problem. lol

Thanks very much. I had to learn what steampunk was in order to to write the story and I'm glad I did.

I'd love to contribute, whether it is accepted or not. The cover alone is fantastic! My thoughts are with his family.

No real updates on this anthology and getting it published. I am still waiting to see if they get the introduction for it or not from Chuck's computer. It might be a couple more weeks, so if anyone else wants to contribute to this, send the story.

I have a story I've been writing and I was really upset with myself for not finishing it before the deadline. I will send it over in a couple days after I've edited it and cleaned it up.
