Last Night - CLOSED FOR EDITING
« Thread Started on Jan 28, 2012, 12:53pm »

Last night - your hero/heroine's last night? The night before an execution, a breakup, a meeting? The end of the world? What happened during that last night? What if they find out afterwards it was their last night, what regrets would they have? Explore the thought of that last night, see where it takes you, what dark and devious pathways you walk...

A for love only anthology, lots of exposure, though, Static Movement is Going Places!

Please send story as an attachment, no headers, no odt files (can't read them) to dorothystaticm@gmail.com with Last Night in the subject line. Let's get yet another outstanding SM anthology on the go!

Please send the story as an attachment in anything but odt. I can't always open those. Please ensure the formatting is half decent, indented paragraphs, no extra lines between the paragraphs and dialogue (I have to edit them all out) and most of all, only 1 space between words. I have had a story in where there are 2 spaces between the words, can't be doing with it! Yes, I can find and replace but it is better if it comes in right in the first place. 99% of the stories which come in are fine, I have to say, but a few are not. When there are a lot of stories waiting to be read, I will naturally go to the ones which have been sent in the proper format. It's only natural.

Beautiful cover, Dorothy, and good topic! I may have to break my short-story writing ban for this one.

I've had this in mind for a while ... intrigued to see what you all come up with. It wouldn't be the same without a story from you, Naomi!

Talking of which ... in my postbox this morning, a poetic piece from Ron Koppelberger, Back and Forth, which I am pleased to accept for this anthology.

I shall do my best! Like you, I've taken on a lot of paid editing work recently, so my free time is pretty limited. But I'm sure I'll find time for Static Movement!
