Urban Nightmares edited by Dorothy Davies
Is your neighbor the charming person he appears to be? What about your local supermarket, do you trust every person who works there? Your garage, can you rely on them to do a good job? Ask yourself whether the urban environment in which you think you are safe and secure really is a haven in the madness that is the modern world... what horrors lurk beneath the smiling faces where you go in your small town or village. In the event of a problem, who would you go to - and be sure of help ... Urban Nightmares calls for your darkest fears, your most paranoid thoughts, your innermost worries. Is the happy-go-lucky traffic cop a serial killer after dark? Send me your stories, expose your urban neighborhood to the world for what it really is, a place of danger!!!
This is a 'for love' anthology only, no copies, no money, sorry! but loads of exposure and a classy product at the end of it. Please don't put headers on your story, I can't get them out!
Send stories to dorothystaticm@gmail.com with Urban Nightmares in the subject line and let's get another cracking anthology on the Static Movement list!

What have I been doing with my writing? How did I miss this anthology? I have an opening but I have to write the rest of the story. It's about the opening of a subway that goes awry.

Dorothy
I am writing one for this anthology. It's a tricky POV so needs close attention, but I will get it done for you. The narrator is off his rocker, making it kind of fun to read.

George, thanks! I love your stories. I am about to abandon one I have been working on for a week, it will not come right! Dismantled it, destroyed it, rewrote it, nothing. So, a new one is forming instead...

I'm writing a story tentatively titled "Inner City Sasquatch" about drugs in the bad section of the city that I hope will make it in here. It's going to be about 2 to 3 weeks to finish...
