 Dragon Blood STILL NEEDS STORIES!
« Thread Started on Mar 29, 2012, 11:53am »

dragons, monsters, or do they have a reputation they do not deserve? are they out to dispose of all mankind or can mankind harness them and work with them, domesticate them, even? What are you dragon thoughts? Sad stories, funny stories, dark and light, send me your dragon related tales, see if we can get another first class Static Movement anthology out in the world!

Send submissions to dorothystaticm@gmail.com with Dragon Blood in the subject line.

Specifics:

No word limit either way. Single space, indent paragraphs, don't leave an extra space between paragraphs. Please put your bio at the end of the story in the manuscript. No page numbers, headers or footers, and no embedded text. Closed when filled.

Please send the story as an attachment in anything but odt. I can't always open those. Please ensure the formatting is half decent, indented paragraphs, no extra lines between the paragraphs and dialogue (I have to edit them all out) and most of all, only 1 space between words. I have had a story in where there are 2 spaces between the words, can't be doing with it! Yes, I can find and replace but it is better if it comes in right in the first place. 99% of the stories which come in are fine, I have to say, but a few are not. When there are a lot of stories waiting to be read, I will naturally go to the ones which have been sent in the proper format. It's only natural.

No payment or contributor copies, this is for the love only.

Not every story has explosions and car chases. That's why they have nudity and espionage - Bill Barnes and Gene Ambaum
