Thanks! Thanks very much. Glas you liked the story. BTW if the contract is the same as other contracts for Static Movement's anthologies, I'll do a fill in the details for Dieselpunk. Just say yes and I'll email it to you. Saves time and all that jazz...

Wow... what a title!

It sprang into my head and I HAD TO WRITE a story with it as title. Just one of those wonderful titles that inspire everything that comes after it.

So, I just submitted my story "Duel Exhaust". I'm psyched about this anthology. The only problem I found writing is that dieselpunk, as far as i can tell, is such a visual genre. Too bad we couldn't have illustrations, huh?

Dual Exhaust by Gary Buettner has been accepted.

This is shaping up great. The three stories accepted so far are wildly different from each other, and wildly different from what I was expecting.

I'm enjoying the way writers are picking up the concept and writing at such tangents, bringing their own voices to the fore. The stories are definitely Dieselpunk, but unique and crossing boundaries.

If a submission were posted on my website simultaneously, would that be permissible?
Posted by Chris Bartholomew on Feb 12, 2011, 5:43pm
Hi. Anything that is on your website is considered published and that would not be okay. Thanks.
Chris
