The Evil Twin - FILLED AND CLOSED

The Evil Twin - Doppelganger Stories Anthology is now open for submissions.

Send submissions to me at author.chris@gmail.com with The Evil Twin in the subject line.

Must be dark, for in these stories, the Doppelganger is the evil one.

Single space submissions, indented paragraphs with no space between paragraphs. Please put a bio at the end of the story. No headers, footers, page numbers.

Min. word count is 2,000, no max.

Open until filled. This is a non paying anthology.

Y'know, Chris. I thought we were friends. Buddies, you know. We look out for each other. Well, :-[ I'm starting to wonder about that as you keep coming up with these anthologies that are soooo tailor-made for stories I already have.

Like this one for instance...about two years ago when I started writing again I decided to take the old short story that fits this theme and expand it into a novel length story. Hmm. Now I'm tempted to keep it a shorty for this antho. But I know you, you'll say, "No, don't do that, give me a longer story", but I'm too much of a Slowpoke Rodriguez for that.

Oh, decisions, decisions.

I thought we were friends. :'(

Considering the Smashwords option, that's exactly what I'm thinking. I'll be in touch. Gotta hit up Joe's, Lorraine's, mine and another of yours first since those are the closest to those two wonderful words known as "THE END".

I really do appreciate these potential homes for a lot of the old stuff I’d written years ago. Glad all those hours spent being an artsy fartsy hermit shunning a bigger social life in my 20s were not for naught. ;D

I may have an idea for this one, if the evil twin can be one of an identical pair that became an undead monster (yet still able to take on the an adult appearance despite being turned evil when changed as a child) and the surviving 'good' sister must confront her sibling ten years later with their vampire hunter father there for the kill.

Might have a reprint I could submit here. It was published by Absent Willow Review in Dec of '09, and I think it's still available on their website. Would that even matter? Anyway, are you interested?
