Thanks for accepting my story, Chris. Feels good to be "back in the business". My academic thrust just ended, so I can do a lot more writing now. Feels good to be back and I am glad to be a part of this anthology.

Glad to get four stories accepted for this one. Just thought I'd mention one thing about the last two I sent in (as sequels to Beyond the Mists) if the story order listed above is actually the final TOC. In terms of chronological order Return of the North Wind occurs at an earlier point in the story trilogy than Sister of Nature. But however they are ordered in the end will be fine I'm sure. After getting resettled in a new house and with my work schedule still not set in stone for full time hours, I hope to get back to some sort of writing pace for the remainder of this year. My short fiction output has been small compared with the last two years and even some years before that (except 2009).

Thanks. That story was partly inspired by a line from the old movie "Educating Rita."

And BTW one of my favorite songs is "Another Night in Tunisia" by the Manhattan Transfer.
